Reality XP sets new standard for Microsoft® Flight Simulator 2004
Reality XP – Flight Line 530XP v2.0, new offering now released.
(August 22, 2003) – Montreal, QC CANADA. Reality XP announced its new offering for Flight Simulator 2004, a Century of Flight. Thanks to its agreement with Garmin Ltd to offer a cutting edge rendition of the GNS530 GPS, the world’s finest panel-mounted IFR navigation/communication system, the new offering integrates with Flight Simulator not only as a 100% accurate Garmin GNS530 direct replacement of the newly introduced Flight Simulator default GPS500, but also as a perfect complementary solution.
With its newly introduced cross-GPS functions, and thanks to a newly designed GPSS and autopilot interface to Flight Simulator, both GPS work together seamlessly to share their flight plans, and the user is offered a simple dynamic Navigation Device selection to switch from one to the other while keeping the autopilot in NAV mode. Prepare approaches on either Garmin, prepare different flight plans, switch from one to the other as often as you want without pausing the simulator are some examples of what the new offering offers!
With a newly designed graphic engine and Garmin Trainer program, the new Flight Line 530XP does not have any performance impact on most systems when compared to previous versions!
With the addition of interactive virtual cockpits, the user can now control all the 530XP functions directly from the 3D view!
Many more features have been added to the offering such as keyboard shortcuts, more integration options and configuration settings. With a strong community of customers and partners, and a growing library of pre-made retrofits for the most popular Flight Simulator add-on aircrafts, this new offering is offered as a free upgrade to existing Reality XP customers.
